The Almost Never Ending Sugar Cookie Recipe
If you want need to feed a crowd (or just like sugar cookies!) this is the recipe you need!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. Butter
- 2 c. Sugar
- 4 Eggs
- 1 pkg. Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix (if you have food allergies, omit this and add 1T real vanilla)
- 5 t. Baking Powder
- 4 1/4 c. Flour
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar thoroughly.
- Add eggs, one at a time, until combined.
- Add pudding mix and baking powder.
- Gradually add flour and mix completely.
- Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least two hours.
- When you are ready to make the cookies, remove dough from refrigerator and roll to 1/4 inch thickness on a floured surface.
- Use cookie cutters to cut into desired shapes and place on cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 6-11 minutes, depending on the size of the cookie.
- Cookies will be done when they no longer look wet on top and are just starting to brown along the edges.
