Slow Cooker Barbecued Chicken Thighs
Enjoy some slow-cooker goodnes with a hint of Summer no matter the season. Broil the chicken pieces for a few minutes to balance the flavor.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken thighs
- sea salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Season chicken with sea salt and pepper on both sides and place on a broiler pan.
- Set oven rack 4-5 inches from the heating element.
- Broil on each side for about 5 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together barbecue sauce, honey and Worcestershire sauce.
- Add chicken to the slow cooker and pour the sauce mixture over the chicken pieces, stirring to coat.
- Cook on low for 4-5 hours.
