Individual Meat Loaves
Quick comfort food, easy and simple. Dinner in about 30 minutes... even with dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 ea. egg
- ½ c. bread crumbs (fresh or dried)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. onion, minced
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
- ½ c. barbeque sauce
- sea salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat broiler and set the rack about 4-5 inches from the heating element.
- Cover a broiler pan with aluminum foil. Combine the meat, egg, bread crumbs, garlic, onion, parsley, sea salt, pepper, and half of the barbeque sauce in a medium-sized bowl.
- Shape into four 4-inch loaves.
- Broil for about 12 minutes, turning one time.
- Turn again and baste loaves with the remaining barbeque sauce.
- Return to the broiler for an additional minute to set the sauce on the loaves.
