Hot Crab Dip
This is one of my favorites. If you like spicier dishes, increase the amount of cayenne you add to the dish.
Ingredients
- 1 8-ounce package cream cheese
- ¼ c. butter (½ stick) (no substitutions)
- 1 16-ounce package imitation crab meat (or use the real thing)
- 3 green onions, sliced thin
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
- ½ c. bread crumbs
Instructions
- Melt butter and cream cheese on the top of a double boiler or in the microwave.
- Add crab meat, onions, garlic, and cayenne pepper.
- Spread dip in a 9x9 baking dish.
- Sprinkle bread crumbs on top.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
- Serve with crackers or cut fresh vegetables.
