Auto Draft
Another quick-fix dinner for busy families. The steaks can marinate overnight if you wish, and the herbed butter adds another layer of flavor.
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 pound top round or sirloin steak
- 3/4 tsp. granular onion
- sea salt & pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tsp. dried thyme
Instructions
- Season the steak with granular onion, sea salt and pepper.
- Place steak in a reclosable bag, along with the Worcestershire sauce.
- Marinate for at least 20 minutes, or up to 24 hours.
- Set oven rack 5 inches from broiler and preheat.
- Mix together the butter, minced garlic, parsley and thyme.
- Broil steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Remove from oven and spread butter evenly over steak.
- Broil for 1 additional minute.
